Impax Pharmaceuticals has an active in-licensing program for marketed products, and compounds in development in CNS. External partnerships are critical to the sustained growth of Impax Pharmaceuticals, and as part of our strategy to further the development of our product pipeline we are seeking to enter into a broad range of licensing arrangements with companies and academic institutions.
CNS Market Products
We are seeking marketed or approved products that fit the existing sales portfolio of Impax Pharmaceuticals. Ideal CNS product licensing candidates will have both growth potential and patent protection. Any product should be capable of growth through promotion using our neuro-specialty sales force.
CNS Drug Candidates
Impax Pharmaceuticals seeks collaborative opportunities with organizations that have projects in development that match our strategic focus.
Collaborations may be formed at various stages of development depending upon the indication.

Out-Licensing
Our drug candidates are available for out-licensing in regions outside the US, such as Europe and Asia. The following is a list of our late-stage proprietary drugs available for co-development:
IPX066 - For Parkinson's Disease
IPX066 is an investigational extended-release carbidopa levodopa product intended to produce a fast and sustained concentration of levodopa, potentially improving Parkinson’s disease clinical symptom management. The key benefits delivered by IPX066 may include the following:
- Superior efficacy in “Off” time reduction for advanced Parkinson’s disease patients
- Improvement on dyskinesias for advanced Parkinson’s disease patients
- Potential to delay onset of motor complications for early Parkinson’s disease patients
- IPX066 is currently in Phase III clinical trials.
